Steps to Transfer Nepalese Licence to NSW licence

1. Pass the Driver knowledge Test DKT. For information on DKT follow the link below https://nepalesedrivingschool.com.au/driver-knowledge-test/
   
2. Check your Nepalese  driver’s license status on the link below: https://onlineedlreg.dotm.gov.np/checkAppStatus
   
3. Book appointment with Consulate General of Nepal, – New South Wales. 0294600388   Level 1, 9 Napier St, North Sydney, NSW 2060
   
4. Verify your Licence from Consulate General of Nepal, NSW
   
5. When you visit the consulate : Nepalese driving license holder will need to bring following documents when verifying the license:​​
   • Original Driving license
   • Original Passport.
   • Online Status Check (Color Copy)
     Please check and verify your driver’s license status on the link below prior your appointment:https://onlineedlreg.dotm.gov.np/checkAppStatus
     However, if your record is not found online or incorrect, Nepal Consulate office will not be able to proceed with the verification letter. Price: $75 AUD
     
6. Book your  Driving test with Service NSW https://nepalesedrivingschool.com.au/driving-test/
   
   
7. Call Nepalese Driving School and book few driving lessons before the test. Nepalese Driving instructors will access your driving skills to pass the driving test and provide feedback accordingly. Please Note we are booked at least 3 weeks in advance. It is worth mentioning that driving test pass rates do dramatically increase with the help of an instructor. 90% of our students pass in first go.
   
8. Sit the Driving test with Service NSW
   
9. After passing the test you will be issued with NSW driver licence.
   
10. If you fail the test you will be issued a learner licence, you can again sit for the test after 7 Days
